STR Software Lands Contract from Texas Petrochemicals to Replace Automated Document Delivery System

 STR Software won a new contract from Texas Petrochemicals in Houston. STR Software will implement AventX® UNIX, a software product for automatically faxing documents from Unix operating systems. The AventX Profile Fax for Oracle option will enable users to fax vendor purchase orders directly from within Oracle E-Business Suite, a business applications software package, with little or no change to the purchase order reporting process. In addition, users will be able to monitor and manage the delivery of their documents over the Web with AventX WebManager. Texas Petrochemicals chose the AventX Product Suite for several reasons: ease of use, inbound faxing capabilities, and a streamlined process that reduced the number of steps by 50 percent or more from their previous automated faxing system.
